small business router/firewall/VOIP/VPN devices: hardware, software,

physical design and conformance. Redirect product vision to custom mix-

match technology. 80% drop in field failure rates, raised product

first pass test yields to 98%, and decreased quote to product time by

40% to help support 50% growth of business.

IP-PBX Service Provider System Engineering and Marketing.

Conceptualization of new product category. Evangelist for service

hosted IP PBX offers including system engineering, public

presentations, strategic account technical support, technical

marketing and training.

Led all aspects of startup new business and technical team realizing

small business access device (hardware, software, physical design,

factory (Jabil), conformance) to take advantage of product line gap.

Led all aspects of business (P&L) and R&D including design,

Merlin Legend Product Line was losing share in the marketplace, costs

were unsustainable, asked to windup project. Took over Led System

Engineering, Circuit, Physical Design, Firmware Development, Forward

Looking Work, ASIC Design and Production Engineering. Built cross

company team with product management, factories, sales and marketing

to rebirth the product, leveraging acquired multinational assets.

Product life significantly extended:

. Innovative VOIP capability, Function point/year increase over 100%

New Business Creation: Led team to re-architect and redesign embedded
