11/08 - 6/09 Aliph Corporation San Francisco, CA

Director, Program Management - Led the cross-functional team that delivered

the Jawbone Prime Bluetooth headset. Development was accomplished via

close integration between Aliph engineers and an OEM partner in Asia. New

"Noise Assassin 2" performance capabilities were created that extended

Aliph's lead in the market.

8/05 - 10/08 Bose Corporation Framingham, MA

Program Manager, Multimedia Programs - Responsibilities focused on ODM

projects with off shore partner organizations. These included life cycle

product management from concept through end of life. Key projects included

the delivery of three new multimedia systems for personal computers,

planning for future products, and implementing modern life cycle management

/cost reduction processes.

9/04 - 7/05 New York State Energy Research & Development Authority Albany,

NY

Project Manager, Next Generation Programs - Responsibilities focused on

management of projects by third party R & D organizations. Activities

included entire project life cycle from solicitation/contract negotiation

through product commissioning/commercialization. Projects included web

based building energy management systems in both the commercial and

residential sectors, new forms of LED lighting, and a new water

purification system using novel LED technology.

5/01 - 9/04 Self-Employed Consultant Albany, NY

- Consulting for Priority Access. Scope of activity in the

areas of business valuation, technology due diligence and

business development.

- Consulting with a small athletic software company, Quik

Scout Technologies (www.quikscout.com). Activities included

product planning and development in preparation for company

sale. This included a continuing role as a minority owner

and key advisor until the sale closing in November 2003.

2/00 - 5/01 PALM, INC, Santa Clara, CA

Manager, Strategic Partners Programs - Responsibilities focused on the

successful market delivery of innovative products by Palm OS licensees. A

direct staff of six Program Managers and five Compatibility Engineers, plus

a heavily "matrixed" cross-functional organization were employed to

integrate partner requirements with the Palm OS. Roles include all phases

of the product life cycle from pre-sale support/analysis, product

development, sustaining engineering, and product transition/replacement.

The successful deployment of licensee designed products enabled Palm to

grow its OS market share by 12% between 1999 and 2000. The group's ongoing

business development activities delivered similar increases in the first

half 2001.

8/98 - 2/00 MICROSOFT/WEBTV Networks, Mountain View, CA

Senior Program Manager, Telco Products - Led the development and delivery

of the next generation WebTV Plus product. All cost, quality, and schedule

targets were met or exceeded. Cost, usability, and reliability

improvements over the prior generation improved product financial returns

by more than 50%.

11/88 - 8/98 APPLE COMPUTER, Cupertino, CA

Displays Program Manager (10/96- 8/98) - Led the development and delivery

of the Multiple Scan 720 Display for the Fall '97 product line. This was

followed by 17" Studio Display for Fall '98. Both products met all program

requirements for quality, cost, and schedule. These programs were

executed through a co-development with an Asian OEM partner. Combined

products generated revenue of $250+ million.

Program Manager, Performa Solutions (2/94 - 9/96) - Managed the Performa

core engineering team and product implementation on a global basis.

Developed the strategy to deploy Performa regional teams to appropriately

support worldwide channels. In conjunction with Performa systems and award

winning bundled software integration, the group also managed and delivered

solutions like an integrated modem ($70.00/unit C/R), a new TV/FM Tuner, a

new user experience "shell", and the Avid Cinema Video Editing

configuration.

Manager, Input/Interconnect Products (4/89-2/94) - Responsible for new

product development with OEM suppliers, design assurance, and sustaining

engineering for desktop keyboards, pointing devices, and overmolded cables.

Staff of ten delivered new products during this period that beat all prior

company standards for quality, cost and schedule.

NPO, OEM Program Manager (11/88-4/89) - Managed all Operations aspects of

two OEM monitor projects. Responsibilities included DVT, PVT/ramp, and

initial production of Portrait and Two-Page Monochrome Monitors.

2/88 - 7/88 BEEHIVE INTERNATIONAL, Salt Lake City, UT

Director, Corporate Quality - Responsible for all Quality programs for the

company's 3270 compatible terminals. Areas of primary emphasis included

Product Assurance, Manufacturing Quality, Source Quality, Customer

Satisfaction, Warranty Administration, and Cost of Quality.

Product Assurance Manager - Managed all removable cartridge disk drive

testing, verification and documentation. Staff included 30 technical

professionals with 3 first level managers.
