I was responsible for 24/7 operations in the data center, as needed for development of vendor relationships,
and the development of customer relations for operations. I participated in the development of the technical
direction for the Data Center hardware and software purchases. I was the Disaster Recovery Manager for the
technology group. Participated in and managed major installs, conversions of software, hardware, capacity
planning, performance monitoring and tuning for system software end user training and applications. I took
ownership and administration of the test, quality assurance and production application environments. Prepared
operations audit reports, performance reports, resource management, project management, senior leadership
team member, salary administration, performance evaluations, and budget management for staffing and
operations requirements.
Assistant Manager / SeniorTechnical Project Manager / Business Analyst
Responsibilities included Assistant Manager to the Operations Senior Vice President, Disaster Recovery
Manager, and technical leadership for day to day operations team. Technical consultant to all areas of the
data center; this required Business Analyst / Liaison skills. We were also tasked to architect and implement
processes to achieve "flawless" production processing at which 99.9% efficiency was achieved. I developed
end user and staff training for this effort. This was accomplished and commended company wide. I participated
in a myriad of large and small projects.
Senior Technical Specialist / Technical Project Manager
Duties included, establishing project plans, managed multiple projects coordinated scheduling and
supervision of all applications moving into the production environment to minimize risk of negative impacts to
processing, and major system analysis responsibilities. Extensive knowledge of TSO, JCL, DFSMS, DFHSM,
DFDSS, CICS and a myriad other mainframe software and utilities allowed me to provide technical training to
new and existing team members. Also performed and delegated leadership responsibilities.
Technical Specialist
Coordinated and installed all of the hardware in the operations environment. I assisted with the management
of projects that involved the installation of mainframes, software, and a broad range of DASD, Tape Silos,
FEPS, Controllers, Midrange systems and printers (hardware). I was responsible for all break/fix aspects of
operations hardware. Utilized programming skills to provide AFP support, wrote the existing code to support
printed output generated by production processing, and wrote the code that generates the current check
image statements for Wells Fargo Bank. Used SAS programming and myriad of other software to provide
analysis and statistics reporting to management and extensively used all IBM utilities to provide technical
support.
