Reported directly to Sr. Vice President Human Resources and managed a team
of (17) professionals responsible for the company's special events,
corporate meetings, trade shows and strategic events. Other frequent tasks
included coordinating VIP and event security with Board of Directors and
officers. Directly managed the successful execution of an estimated 300
events and trade shows annually with a total spend of nearly 30MM.
Responsibilities included total event logistics, (transportation,
accommodations, food & beverage, head line entertainment, production &
design, security, vendor village, exposition area) budgets, legal
agreements/contracts, warehousing of exhibits, information technology, and
communications, reconciliation and planning/coordinating security. Also
participated in strategic planning for the department, employee development
as well as team building. Implemented best practices that focused on cost

Began my career as Staff Manager Risk Management for Southwestern Bell
Yellow Pages, responsible for Safety, Security and Insurance at the
subsidiary level. Promoted to Manager-Security with Southwestern Bell
Telephone Company assigned to the St. Louis region and responsible for the
protection of assets in Eastern half of Missouri associated with the
telephone company. In 1992 promoted to Assistant Director Asset Protection
responsible for protection of the company assets from the corporate staff
overseeing policy, procedures and strategic planning for the organization's
parent company. Assisted in the planning and execution of an
International Security program regarding the company's global expansion
with due diligence teams, expatriate briefings and employee safety abroad.
Designed and implemented Security Global Tracker a system designed to track
all employees whereabouts while traveling abroad. Designed and managed a
comprehensive executive protection program for senior officers, board of
directors and sponsors. Provided security for special events including
Shareholders' Meetings, and all other corporate events including SBC Cotton
Bowl and other title PGA, Sr. PGA, LPGA sponsorships.
