Objective

as a Broadcast/Satellite Operations Technician. I have nineteen years

experience in broadcast television, primarily in a Master Control Room

Broadcast Operations Technician, MyTV Network/WMYD TV20; Detroit, MI-- 2000-

2009

Performed duties of full-time Broadcast Operations Technician. Duties

included the airing of local and network programming. Smooth integration

of commercial spots into on-air programming. Operating/ingesting Profile

video server system (Crispin, Rapid Play, TurboBrowser, Avid Sundance).

Tuning, down linking, ingesting, and routing satellite feeds for recording

(Leitch and Tandberg receivers), and preparation for air (DG System,

Pathfire, Sundance Intellisat). Operation of automated playback system

(Sundance Titan Air). Operation of satellite receivers (Leitch, Tandberg).

On-Air/Master Control Coordinator, PASS Sports Network; Detroit, MI--1997-

1997

Performed duties of On-Air/Master Control Coordinator. Duties included the

responsibility for the overall look of PASS air during prime time and

weekends. Communicating with on-site producer/directors to confirm

formats, transmission, on/off times, and contingency plans. Checking scan

sheets of upcoming programs. Implement contingency plans, pre-plan

transitions from one program to the next. Obtain programming from

programming schedules for dissemination to local newspapers and Electronic

Prevue Guide. Obtain programming from distributors, preparing it for air.

Coordinate satellite feeds for program records/air. Compose and forward

Local Origination hours of programming to company management and the

Detroit Cable Commission in the form of monthly reports. Oversee and

maintain tape library and archival footage. Produced weekly 30-minute talk

show "Latinos de Motown" and various special events. Oversee the

trafficking of Ad Sales' commercial spots and infomercials for a number of

different channels.

monitoring equipment, waveform/vector scopes, the use of several software
