1. Daily project management of Internet and IT initiatives that generated
$15 million of revenue in 2009 for SignOnSanDiego.com. Projects
include new product development plus upgrades and maintenance of web
applications, business systems, content management systems, website
infrastructure, and network infrastructure.
2. Saved the organization $700,000 by investing in a customizable content
management system (CMS) based on open source software which matched
the project specifications. Successfully led my project team of 5
Programmers and 2 Systems Administrators to plan, develop, implement,
and continuously improve the CMS using Agile development.
3. Planned, designed, and managed the project to rebuild our website
infrastructure with the goal of increasing our page-view and bandwidth
capacity 10-fold to handle traffic spikes during major news events
such as the 2007 San Diego wildfires and after major earthquakes in
