Operations Supervisor.

Coordinate operations for 16+ projects in support of the American Embassy

in Bogota, Colombia.

Our mission is to assist the logistics operations of NAS Colombia by :

- Provide the coordination with carriers, agencies, vendors and end user

of the items procured by USDOS to perform the shipments in the most

secure, cost effective way and complying with all the different

regulations involved. At local, Federal and international level.

- Ensure cargo airworthiness in accordance with (IATA) & (CFR)

Regulations.

- Freight forwarding activities in compliance with Federal and State

import, export regulations (EAR, ITAR).

- Detect in advance special requirements, such as special permits from

the DOT. i.e. charter and Hazmat air operations.

Since the award of this project in September 2007, I have performed over

500 shipments, of these, 20% has been Hazmat shipments and 3 have required

special permit by the DOT to transport High explosives that are forbidden

by regular commercial air transport, being granted the largest special

permit in the DOT history for a civilian commercial transport

By 2009 I started promoting our capabilities to capture more business, so

far we have secure shipments for 5 new customers with successful outcomes

resulting in customer return rate of 100%..

- Freight Operations Coordinator: Rolled over to CCE in the same position

held at Lockheed Martin as per contract requirements. Assisted the EO in

gathering metrics and information required for our company creation as a

freight forwarder able to operate as a DDTC registered FF. provided support

in the same way to present a bid for a project that later on was awarded to

CCE resulting in my promotion as Operations Supervisor for the project.

Assist with the creation of Import, Export and Domestic SOP for two

projects and for the requirements of the ISO 9000 certification.

Assigned as the IAC lead agent in support of TSA, IAC regulations.

Coordinate, receive and inspect items and technology for an American

Embassy NAS in Bogota, Colombia. With the mission to provide support of the

air wing of the Colombian National Police.

properly in compliance with airworthiness regulations, traceability

documentation related to aircraft parts and support equipment.

- Enter into the database for accurate visibility, expedite emergent

requirements in support of the customers priorities;

- Request and challenge vendors for correct export classification,

coordination and air operations.
