I am an architect with 15 years of experience in hospitality, residential,
museum, transportation, theater, exhibition and entertainment sectors,
including, hi-rise expansion and new construction. My strengths are as
Project Manager and Designer.
Prior experience has included serving as Project Manager and Designer on
several large, high end hillside residential projects here in Los Angeles,
Job Captain for several hotel projects in Miami, and Designer for both
theater and film sets. These positions required coordinating diverse design
teams, complex MEP systems, challenging geological conditions, tight
budgets, compressed schedules, and demanding clients. An early project
experience was working for Pei Cobb Freed & Partners on the U.S. Holocaust
Memorial Museum in Washington, DC in roles of production and design, which
helped set the bar for my high standards for quality and integrity in
design and document development.
I am a fast, accurate and thorough architect who enjoys the challenge of
putting together projects on budget and on schedule. I am also a skilled
designer who likes to use the "limitations" of budget to create a more
evocative design. I am proficient in AutoCAD, communicative with hand
sketching and fluent in Spanish. I am also a quick study, capable multi-
tasker and enjoy collaborating in a team environment to achieve common
goals.
