2010- Present

Contract Mechanical Engineer

Designing 6 MBTU boiler by applying ASME code calculations, FEA, flow

dynamic and Thermal dynamic analysis to generate all necessary drawings,

included GD&T details in the drawings.

Plast-O-Matic Valves Inc, Cedar Grove NJ

2009- 2010

Research and Development Engineer

Redesign different types of valves and other flow control equipment to meet

specific customer requirements. Much of the work involved designing

equipment to be more durable in adverse conditions and have a longer more

dependable service life along with consideration of cost effective.

. Completed design 2", 2 ", 3 ", 4" ball valve used Pro/E wildfire 4.0,

resulted to increase Plast-O- Matic ball valves variety up to double.

. Used Pro/Mechanica wildfire 4.0 to simulated the physical behavior

different equipments to improve the mechanical performance such as

stresses, deflections, frequencies, heat transfer paths, and other

factors

THALES AVIONICS. Edison, NJ

2005 - 2009

Aerospace Division

Mechanical Engineer

Supported ELS Dept. on developer and manufacturer test bench coordinated

and synchronized with US engineering staff and those in France this

included all sketches, complete GD&T details and layout drawings.

Supported product development, included prototype development of devices,

fabrication, verification testing and analysis

. Worked with France engineering team to assess and evaluate design

concepts and proposed to improve the reliability for electro-mechanical

units such as AOA "Angle of Attack" for Airbus A310 and helicopter

actuator for Sikorsky (Black Hawk).

. Provided improved component level diagnostic tool through design and

implement new way to troubleshoot in printed circuit boards; reduced the

diagnostic time from 16 hours to hour, this tool (patent in process)

estimated to save up to $228 K per year in troubleshooting efforts.

. Completed design lighting control test bench for Boeing 747 by used

LabView 8.6.1

. Converted manual mica cut machine to fully automatic status, designed by

Pro/E and LabView (patent in process). Resulted in reduce cycle time up

to 50 % and setup time up to 30 minutes per unit (reward from Thales

innovation program).

. Designed a new tool for bearing temperature detection alarm in aircraft

starter generator on the final test by used LabView 8.6 and Pro/E.

Mechanical Engineer, (Continued)

. Built holding and shorting simulation model tool for parts Dept.;

resulted to cost reduction up to $ 1.5 million per year (reward from

Thales innovation program).

. Designed a new test bench able to test Bar-to-Bar and Out of Round for

starter generator commutator; improved efficiency, process consistency

and satisfied quality requirement (reward from Thales innovation

program).

KREISLER INDUSTRIAL COOPERATION, Elmwood Park, NJ 2003 - 2005

Mechanical Engineer

Responsible for coordination engineering and manufacture, engineered tools

and build CNC programs to satisfy Pratt & Whitney specifications and

quality requirements.

. Provided design tools and dies to help the manufacturing to obtain

customer requirements by used Pro/E wild fire 2.0.

. Evaluated manufacturing implementation and recommended design

modification to eliminate machine, system malfunctions and human error.

Result was significant improve in quality.

. Continuous improvement leader, responsible for the training and

implementation of continuous improvement tools such as VSM (Value Steam

Map), TAKT time, Standard work, set-up reduction 5S, TPM (Total

Productive Maintenance), resulted Reduce cycle time and set-up time up to

35% and increased the output from 5 parts a day to 31 parts a day ready

to ship. By used Flexsim simulation model to confirm the new cell meet

the goals.

. Developed and implemented a unique method of precision tube bending in

big bend tube Dept.; cost reduction up to 20 %.

Master Thesis, Newark, NJ 2002 - 2004

Patented in US Patent Office November 7, 2003

. The objective of the research is the design of a new mechanism able to

keep the vehicle stable under various road conditions and high speeds, to

prevent the vehicle from rolling over and to maintain the stability for

the vehicle by creating an anti-rolling torque on the vehicle body

capable of turning the vehicle smoothly to stable position. Designed by

used Pro/E and Lab view.

. NJIT ranked this thesis is one of the best three theses, from 85 theses

in 2004.
