Senior Technician
My job duties were to assist a 33+ helpdesk team in any way possible to
improve the clients' experience and resolve their technical issues as soon
as possible by giving instructions, training, directions, insight and
encouragement to perform their helpdesk jobs. As a Senior Technician, I was
responsible for the researching of any issue that could not be resolved by
the front line technicians, and coming up with a solution or calling the
engineers with recommendations. I also provided technical assistance to
other teams of the same size when their Senior Technicians were absent. By
coaching and mentoring I discovered training deficiencies in network
troubleshooting and developed training material for team building. After
one month of advanced training, my team's call time dropped 15% on
networking related calls for our site. The site manager asked me to teach
this network troubleshooting class to all the teams to help them achieve
the same results on their teams. I assisted Case Manager with completion of
daily projects and special assignments.
