Evaluated, Justified, & led the start up and ongoing operations of manufacturing plants in

Central America & Mexico with total operational responsibilities for quality, service, cost, security,

safety, scheduling, inventory t racking, staff development, HR, and reporting responsibility for a

manufacturing division in both domestic and non-domestic locations with annualized expense budgets

exceeding $60,000,000 and materials budgets in excess of $300,000,000 with a multi-year capital

budget in excess of $45,000,000employing 2900 direct associates.

M anaged a multi-plant/multi-state industrial engineering department with reduced average

year over year total manufacturing costs by 5% including reductions in materials, expense budgets, and

l abor costs reducing total manufacturing cycle throughput t imes from an excess of 15 working days to

an average of 6 working days on stock replenishment products and from 15 working days to 2 working

days on make to order products. Led the implementation of an ISO 2000/2001 certification.

Establish, implement, and manage work measurement/labor cost saving engineering projects and

i ncentive system installation projects with staffing companies servicing a variety of clients including

t i re manufacturing, tire warehousing, tire distribution, grocery distribution, cross docking consumer

goods, cosmetic manufacturing, cosmetic order fulfillment, digital media package assembly, cellular

phone recycling, rubber hose assembly, order fulfillment from dry and cold storage for convenience

stores and apparel manufacturing/distribution.

M anaged a mechanical services department including R&D design, CNC manufacture and

i nstallation of automated equipment and full company management of plant facility support

equipment supporting up to 11,000 individual production machines and negotiations for purchase

p ricing of parts and machinery.

Managed a department in the processing of high pressure acetylene cylinders
