Successfully managed the development of a five hundred page Country Program Strategy
Paper (CPSP) covering proposed aid programs to South Africa for the years 1997 to 2002.
Managed the research, data collection and writing effort for the CPSP for the development of
tertiary education programs and native job training programs for South African funded programs
through USAID.
The CPSP I managed was reviewed by members of the US Congress to assist them to determine
the size of the initial US aid package that was eventually approved for South Africa from 1997
through 2002.

Contract Consultant for SA Training Redevelopment Program Johannesburg, RSA
This was an NGO and was President Nelson Mandela’s sanctioned project for South Africa’s
country wide educational reform through the Redevelopment Program (RDP) through USAID.
Worked with senior level South African Government Officials to develop and implement
methodologies to deliver adult learning programs and for tertiary educational programs.
This program was funded through the United States Agency for International Development and
was a high profile project during the initial years of democracy in South Africa after the fall of
Apartheid. The program was primarily focused on providing equal opportunity for training and
education for all South Africans.
