Purchasing Coordinator/ National Logistics Manager- 1998-2009
? Managed the Purchasing and Logistics for a 70 million dollar a year
de-centralized corporation with 30 district offices nationally.
? Solely responsible for the buying of parts and materials for all
offices.
? Orchestrated and approved all negotiations for vendors in the
business,
including both transportation and materials.
? Responsible for maintaining an effective vendor base to supply the
company with timely and cost effective services, including
periodic assessments and inspections.
? Collaborated with field personnel and all levels of the management
team ensuring that customer needs were being fulfilled and
implemented strategies when necessary.
? Created and maintained temporary vendors on a local level to supply
materials to the field when normal vendors could not meet the

decks), LTL or partial shipments, common carrier freight (Fed-x
Freight,
CCX), and package shipping (UPS, Fed-x).

Invoices,
NAFTA Agreements, Export Declarations) needed for efficient
movement of our equipment.
? Maintained and implemented any changes in commodity, NMFC and

flood and
disaster zones and also coordinating safe routes to and from
