. Managed development, maintenance, and upgrades for all corporate
batch systems. In charge of insuring all production systems,
processes, and data are available each morning. I managed a team of
developers using VB, .NET, COBOL, Biztalk and other languages on
several platforms. My team was the leader in creating a departmental
site, using Sharepoint. From the site I created workflows to better
communicate with the team.
o In 2009 improved daily availability rate from 65% to over 90% by
adding quality day measures to team goals.
o In 2009 ran project to migrate all production source from
SourceSafe to TFS. Moved VP Apps, SQL, and COBOL source into
separate projects in TFS.
o Held a role as the business relationship manager. I held
periodic meeting with different business department managers.
In the meetings we prioritized IT work requests and got to
better understand the goals of the business.
o Cross functional team leader in charge of the Crisis Management
team, had authority to mobilize team in catastrophic
emergencies. I was the single point of contact for all
corporate system outages.
