RISKMASTER: SAP Business Objects Developer - Product Design and Development

of BI Solutions, Strategy and Support for RISKMASTER BI Reporting

Environment by creating new report templates and assisting clients with

reporting issues.

Participated with Regional(American), and International (Asia Pacific) team

members through Project-Based Business Requirements Gathering Sessions that

resulted in the delivery of a Data Warehouse and Metric Reporting

infrastructure. Collaborated in the development of Business Analytics "BI

based" reporting solution for the RISKMSTER product. Business Analytics

helps clients gain insights into their risk and claims data and enables

them to capitalize on business opportunities and mitigate losses by using

built in Business Analytics report templates.

Business Analytics was built from the ground up by integrating Business

Objects BI components.

Performed analysis, design, implementation and delivery of complex BI

reporting solutions using BI/WEBI to help forecast claim losses based on

historical data. Serve as a mentor for team members who encounter

reporting challenges whenever the need existed to create new templates

required by unique type of data analysis.

Maintained Crystal Reports for RISKMATERS's enterprise reporting system.

This is a custom type of reports system designed for customers before the

introduction of Business Analytics reporting system.

I traveled to CSC's Users group conferences to present BI/WEBI reporting

training sessions. At the Lab, I provided guidance to clients experiencing

reporting challenges due to their complex but required operating

requirements. I normally prepared the presentation for new reporting

products being introduced by our Sales team to clients attending the

conference.

I regularly joined our Sales team at the client's site during product

presentations to assist with the technical aspect of our Business Analytics

reporting component.

Analyzed, developed and implemented a testing Rating Tool and also designed

an automated process to allow data mapping done automatically between data

streams and database table fields. This initiative saved time and helped

meet critical deadlines.

AS400 Programmer Analyst III

Year 2000 Project - Designed, developed and implemented a utility that

identified the objects (Programs, Job streams, Physical files, Logical

files, Display files, Print files, Interface files, Database Fields and

Copybooks) that were non Y2K date compliant within the Organization's

application portfolio.

Responsible for Making CPD's 825 programs Y2K compliant. This included

making coding changes CL, COBOL, RPG and SYNON programs.

Special Investigation System - Implemented an application that tracked

fraudulent claims for the Special Investigation Department. This system

helped to identify repeating offenders.

Underwriting Computer System (UCS) - Developed a Policy Endorsement

solution as well as a Global and Billing policy inquiry functionality

within the UCS application also provided needed assistance in the

development of 200+ COBOL programs that generated standard forms within the

Print Products subsystem.

Media/Coupon Tracking System - Designed, developed and implemented an

application which resulted in advertising cost savings. This system allowed

individual stores to identify which coupons were generating more sales and

what coupons should be discontinued due to poor results.

General Ledger Integration - Increased productivity in the Finance

department by integrating the following applications to the M & D General

Ledger system:

- Advertising Allocations - Medical Insurance

- Worker's Compensation - Unearned Certificates

- Shrinkage on Frames and Lenses

Fixed Asset Application Migration - Converted and then migrated the Fixed

Asset application from a Wang platform to the AS/400 platform.

Defective and Cannibalized Product System - Assisted in the analysis,

development and implementation of this system which saved the stores

thousands of dollars each year on product breakage charges.
