I went back to work for Timken Co. in Honea Path, SC. I was a machine setter/operator at this time until
I was laid off in April 2009 due to the economy.
October 2007-March 2008- Mastec in Piedmont, SC
I worked for Mastec installing DirecTV service. I enjoyed everything about this job except for the pay
and benefits. With this company I was paid by jobs performed and never really had no set amount that I
did from day to day. I installed and serviced DirecTV systems. I left this job to return to the Timken Co.
in Honea Path, SC in March 2008.
May 1990-September 2007- Timken Co. in Honea Path, SC and Clinton, SC
I worked for Timken Co. in Honea Path, SC where I ended up transferring to the Clinton, SC Plant. I
traveled to and from Cairo, GA with this company for the last 6 months of my employment before they
closed the plant down. With this company I was a team leader for 14+ years and a machine
operator/setter.

About Me:
I have been married for almost 6 years and I have 2 daughters and one step son. I have always put my
family and their happiness first. Since being laid off from Timken in April, I have been constantly
searching for employment so I can support my family and make sure all their needs are met daily. I take
great pride in supporting my family and I am finding it almost impossible to do on unemployment. I am
not the type of person to set around at home and do nothing, and I cannot stand the situation I am in
currently where I have to do this. I have been working since I was 15 years old and work is something I
have to do to be correct with myself. I also have financial obligations that I am beginning to fall behind
on that I have always been current with. I think personally I would be a great asset to any company if
given the chance.
