Objective

* Day Shift Staff Pharmacist responsible for all aspects of dispensing

inpatients and outpatients.
* Responsible for Vancomycin and Aminoglycosides dosing protocols, when
requested by the Physicians.

* The position involved the development of new specialty vehicles for
use by emergency providers in fire, rescue, emergency medical
services, and disaster services. Some of these vehicles were
developed to introduce an innovative and efficient means for cost
containment of emergency medical first response, and another to
present a solution for a need that had never been met in providing for
dignity and contain potential biological/nuclear hazardous disasters.
As different aspect of our business included representing new and used
upper end ambulances to EMS providers in the territories (Texas,
Oklahoma, and Louisiana) that we represented.
* One of our innovative products was the development of Essential Air.
It was a new product that we developed to provide proper climate
control of medications used in emergencies, which had not been done
previously. Being a Pharmacist, educating decision makers of their
liability was a new concept for these customers.
* Managed all aspects of the development, including establishing a
customer base, promotion and marketing of the products, securement of
materials, designing of the interiors to be more user friendly for the
patients, working with sub-contractors, and provide education where
needed. Our customer base varied from neonates to geriatrics, and
their unique requirements. Creativity and innovation were essential.
* Assuring compliance with all state and federal regulations, laws, and
guidelines.

2003.
$ Staff Pharmacist working the night shift (8:30pm - 7:00am), 7 days on
and 7 days off.(
* Position involves Clinical, Dispensing, Order Entry, IV Compounding,
Supervision, and being a Medication Information Resource.
* Acute Care Facility with 154 beds. Facility performs Open Heart
procedures, Oncology, and General care with cutting edge technology.
Facility remains, on average, at 90% occupancy.
Baylor University Medical Center, Dallas, Texas April, 2002 - November,
2002
* Staff Pharmacist in the Central Pharmacy. Assignments included
verifying medications, assisting physicians and nursing staff with
answers to questions, checking all outgoing medications, verifying
social service outpatient medications, etc. Over 80 Pharmacists are
employed in this medical center.
* This facility is comprised of multiple hospitals, and includes
approximately 1800 beds of all specialties. This medical center
performs kidney, lung, bone marrow, liver, and heart transplants. As
the largest medical center in the Southwest, it is in a constant state
of growth and leads in cutting edge technology.
