incur cost or mission risk. Assists the Enterprise Risk Manager in identifying, defining,
and managing enterprise risks associated with the acquisition programs, architecture

Central Security Service (CSS) Staff Action Officer / Nov 1999 – Mar 2001

Senior Operational Staff Officer for the Central Security Service. Coordinated daily with
the Service Cryptologic Elements and NSA offices on national intelligence matters.
Evaluated, prepared position papers, and tracked a wide range of issues; reported findings
and recommendations directly to a general officer, the Deputy Director of the CSS.
Cryptologic Services Group (CSG) Watch Officer / Jul 1998 – Oct 1999
Cryptologic Services Group, United States Forces Korea (USFK)
CSG representative in the USFK Indications and Warning 24-hour watch center. Briefed
senior USFK officials on targets of high national interest; initiated and coordinated
analytical exchanges between theater and national intelligence agencies. Trained watch
officers on technical SIGINT matter and reporting relationships. Commended and
awarded joint medal by the USFK Deputy Chief of Staff (then MajGen Hayden) for
actions taken during the search and sinking of a North Korean infiltration craft.
