GLY Construction – Bellevue, WA 2004 – 2009
Construction Project Manager
Responsible for preconstruction, estimating, subcontractor bidding and buyout, writing subcontracts,
managing subcontractors, coordinating subcontractors, punch list and closeout. Clients included
Microsoft and Quadrant Homes.
• Acted as Change Management Representative on GLY team to ensure ongoing design changes
were implemented effectively with Microsoft on two offices (260,000 SF each) as part of the
multimillion dollar Microsoft West Campus Project.
• Managed subcontracts, various construction scopes, and cost changes on 2 year, multimillion
dollar Microsoft project to construct two offices (285,000 SF each) and two parking structures
(338,000 SF each) as part of campus expansion project. Buildings were LEED certified.
• Led team for Quadrant Homes Headquarters project. Fast track construction office build
out of four floors (53,400 SF) with mechanical and electrical design/build. Worked
closely with tenant and architect to design and implement tenant design changes
throughout the project. $3.4 million.

Construction Project Manager
Managed and supervised 300 projects totaling more than $50 million in the Puget Sound Region, Eastern
Washington, Idaho, and Oregon.
• Set up and staffed remote office in Spokane, Washington. Screened, interviewed and selected
staff, including two jobsite superintendents and office administrator.
• Project Manager to replace 9th floor Chillers in Qwest/AT&T Riverside Building
in downtown Spokane, WA. Fast track design/build project to upgrade and replace
chillers and cooling towers in main downtown switching facility while keeping the
existing systems running. Project completed in three months from design through
completion. $1.0M

performance of construction in operating facilities with minimal impact to building occupants and

• High Rise renovation and tenant improvement experience includes renovating 33-story Bell Plaza
Office Building in Seattle, WA. Projects include design and installation of a fire sprinkler system,
new ceiling and lighting systems for a computer environment, replacing the domestic water
system, and various internal tenant renovations. Building remained fully occupied through all
improvements.
