. Twice awarded the Army Achievement Medal while working for the NSA
(National Security Agency) in a secure communications capacity at
United Nations Command & Control facilities throughout the world.
o Received numerous Army Letters of Recommendation as well.
. Developed new wiring standards, UTP and Fiber Optic cabling, for Waste
Management NA which included both the U.S. and Canada. This led to a
complete re-design of WMNA wiring facilities in North America. Lead
project manager for the projects design, implementation, vendor
selection, as well as vendor management.
o Redesigned the Waste Mgmt Canadian network saving over 2 million per
year by implementing L3 routing over Frame Relay and ISDN coupled with
a complete inventory of the network removing network redundancy and
waste.
. Resolved major telecommunication issues with the Waste Management X.25
network equipment, saving over 200,000 dollars, within my first 60
days on the job.
. Instrumental in the Waste Management NA, network re-design, network
and application testing, and eventual implementation of Cisco L3
routers, L2 switch equipment technology and TDM technology over a new
IP network.
. Designed and implemented the ABN-AMRO NA (formerly LaSalle Banks) SNA
(SAA) gateway network in first 3 months on the job,
. Designed, and Implemented a new mortgage network that utilized TCP/IP
on AS/400's for the ABN-NA, providing fault tolerance and redundancy
for the first time. This led to a 100% network availability vs. the
previous 73% availability.
. Re-designed ABN-ANRO NA WAN network to utilize a true IP backbone with
OSPF routing, with fault tolerance. Reported directly to the Chief
Technology Officer.

Senior Sales Engineer
Pre / Post Sales support for all technical matters pertaining to Reflex
products and technologies which included web demonstrations, technical
presentations, network design, product testing, integration and
installation of Reflex products. Customer training, and troubleshooting or
problem analysis for IPS appliance products (100,200,1000), the Network
Security Switch (MG5 and MG10) the industries first Multi-Gigabit IPS
solution based on a ATCA (Advanced Telecommunications Computing
Architecture) chassis, VSA (virtual security appliance) which provides IPS
security for virtual network such as VMWare and Citrix Zen. All products
