Executive Engineer, Foundation Contractors, Inc., Marietta, Georgia.
Executive in charge of a start-up Engineering Department which produced tiltwall and reinforcing steel
shop drawings for a Top 25 Specialty Contractor (Southeast Construction magazine, 2008). Scope of work
under this concrete subcontractor included the design of tiltwall lifting & bracing as well as the overseeing
of two AutoCAD technicians. Also assisted the estimating department with quantity take-offs, value
engineering / preliminary re-designs, and coordination / review of vendor bids.

Took over three (3) projects underway in May 2009 performing concrete subcontractor construction
management & administrative duties to include the completion of buy-out / sub-tier contractor contracts,
RFI’s, G.C. & subcontractor / vendor pay applications / invoices, scheduling, budget reviews and General
Contractor relations.

Performed construction management & administrative duties to include the completion of buy-out /
subcontractor contracts, shop drawing review, RFI’s, Owner & subcontractor / vendor pay applications /
invoices, scheduling, budget reviews and Owner relations from the completion of the shell through the
construction of decorator-ready condominium units for the balance of a single project.
January 2005 – September 2008
President, Vintage Design & Construction, Inc., Lake Worth, Florida.
Licensed principal in charge of engineering design and construction qualifier responsible for all aspects to
include accounting functions, pre-construction, estimating, subcontract award / buy-out, and construction
administration. Managed up to seven staff people at one time.
September 1995 - December 2004
Project Manager, Catalfumo Construction Ltd., Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
Performing construction administration for one of South Florida’s largest commercial construction &
development firms. Duties consists of all aspects of the commercial construction industry from pre-
construction review (designs, estimates, budgets, construction procedures, owner contracts), subcontractor
scopes of work & contracts, scheduling, project budget reviews, payment applications, shop drawing
review, through project close-out. Also performed responsibilities of Safety Coordinator, (June 1996 -
January 1998), Updated / coordinated the implementation of a company-wide construction safety program.
Duties consisted of the review of past & present accidents, coordination with OSHA staff, worker’s
compensation insurance staff, as well as performed impromptu in-house jobsite safety inspections.
