Maintenance Field Planner

A Maintenance Field Planner assigned to the Site Logistics Department of

Dow St Charles Operations Facility. I am responsible for implementing the

plan and schedule based on the mission and vision of the organization. The

Planner is experienced in the overall maintenance process with skills and

knowledge to create job packages from the work order scope. The job package

includes all information about the leveraged resources which include labor,

materials, tools, equipment and services needed to ensure safe, effective

and efficient execution of the work. Responsible for planning priority 1,

2, 3, 4 type daily jobs for Multi-skilled: Instrument, Electrical,

Millwright craft workers and vendor resources.

Overview of Projects and Job activities:

Butanol Unit Turnarounds and Emergency shut down of Facilities

without any personnel injuries or equipment damage. Planned and executed a

project that required the Catalyst Change-out in two VPH reactors and the

work was successfully completed in seven days.

Planned Terminal Tank cleaning to remove product residue - generated

cost savings of $30,000.00 by suggesting an alternative approach to job

task.

Planned and organize the restoration of the SCO Distribution #1

Marine Floating Dock facilities that was sunk due to a collision that was

caused by a large grain barge - The facility was restored to full operation

45 days ahead of schedule.

Participated on global projects to provide training for maintenance

employees during the site roll-out of new SAP and GMWP program modules for

the maintenance department.

Facilitate safety meetings and Site wide power point presentations,

purchased materials, managed budgets, wrote job scopes for repair work,

charters, nominated coworkers for recognition awards, worked in diverse

work group and on empowered work teams.

Planned the removal and re-installation of the EOA Header and the

unit were able to start-up in 1.5 days instead of 3 days to generate a cost

savings $200,000.00.

Maintained Annual Preventive Maintenance work orders, Solicit bids

from outside vendors for tank repair work, and fulfilled role project lead

person for the Site Logistics Electrical Outage.

Computers skills are required to be able use windows based programs and

other global computer systems, and must be proficient with current hardware

and software tools. Facilitation, Initiative, SAP, GMWP, and Six Sigma

Greenbelt Qualified, Scheduler Primavera P6.
