Maintenance - Bug Analysis, Enhancements Requirements Gathering, Coding and
Testing, Functional and Technical Impact Analysis, Support for IT
Acceptance and User Acceptance Testing and Post-Implementation Support.
Responsibilities:
. Preparation Test Plan for System Testing for the Atlas Application
Maintenance project.
. Preparation of the Testing Effort Estimation and identifies and builds

Maine DHHS intends to implement Unisys' MMIS system and fiscal agent
services to support the management and evolution of MaineCare, the state's
Medicaid program. Unisys will deliver a proven solution to equip the state
with an advanced MMIS, featuring web browser-based user interface; modeling
capability, to better evaluate the impact of healthcare policy and benefit
changes; managed care functionality; and primary care case management
models. Unisys will devise, develop, implement and operate the MMIS, and
will administer the State's Medicare program by assuming responsibility for
several claims and customer service functions. The Unisys "HealthPAS"
solution is COTS-based. It is a processing system joining several
commercially available applications and is in use by other Medicaid
programs. So the MaineCare project will be an adaptation of an existing,
CMS-certified system. In addition to helping MaineCare implement a new
claims processing system, Unisys will also operate some MaineCare
functions. A series of related business initiative projects are also
underway. The business initiatives include: work to become HIPAA compliant
and eliminate local codes, an accelerated provider re-enrollment and use of
NPI, examination of options for more consistent and useful pricing
structures for long-term care facilities, review of member rates, and
