myself, Sung An Hsu, an instrument and control engineer with more than

twenty years of working experience with several engineering consultancy

companies, jobsite field construction, FDCN design group, and project

supervision. It is my sincere wish that I can be an asset and lend

Fist, I am proficient in instrument design for petroleum refineries,

chemical plants, and power plants which will be productive for your

company. Through out the years I have designed numerous engineering works.

So I can assure you that I'm sophisticated in the process of selecting and

specifying accurate instruments for projects. This includes the knowledge

of precise sizing calculations for control valves, orifice plates,

safety and tank relief valves. Additionally, I'm also familiar with all

electrical/mechanical designs consisting but not limited to: wiring/loop

diagram, logic/cause and effect, HAZOP/SIL, hook-up/material selections,

DCS/PLC/SIS configurations, analyzer system, and F&G system.

Secondly, I also want to offer your company my vast career

experience in Nuclear Power Plants where I have over ten years of

experience. In the past, I have received training and worked with Ebasco

Co., Bechtel Co., and Nuclear Power Stations numbers 1, 2, 3 and 4 in

Taiwan. I am competent in instrument specifications such as nuclear

active/passive definition, selections and procurement/bid evaluation, and

safety related instruments that requires EQ/SQ ( IEEE- 323, 344, NRC, 10CFR

50, APP. B), and ASME. My expertise also includes RPS/ECCS safety logical

system, 1 out of 2 twice or 2 out of 3 trip system, auxiliary system,

turbine system, radwaste system, and seismic 1 tubing isometric design

works.

Lastly, I offer your company all my knowledge and expertise gained

through my long job experience. I am well- versed in direct leadership and

management. I have a strong work ethic that is second to none. Completing

projects ahead of time and doing jobs that normally require more manpower

is something I routinely do. This would be most beneficial to your company.

My unique work ethic includes my ability to vigilantly complete new tasks

and evaluate completed tasks given to me. Recently, when evaluating the

new/existing (revamping) flow elements/ safety relieve system/ control

valve's even thermo wells replacement of an ongoing project; I detected

mistakes in the designs/calculations and provided the resolution to correct

the fluid's orifice plates, and restriction orifice plate's selection. In

total, I have saved Fluor Daniel a considerable amount of money and

prevented this company from presenting flawed instruments to a client
