memorized the differences in editions and options packages in two vehicle
makes with an accumulated 14 different models.

Rockland, Ma.
Worked with Fadel, Bridgeport and Okuma milling machines along with Okuma
and Slant/50 lathes using Yasnac controls. Created fixtures and worked with
stainless steel, aluminum, and medical grade plastics. Created parts used
in food processing, medical instruments, and aviation. Government level
tolerances, blueprints and schematics were observed on a daily basis.
Contributed ideas for engineering and re-design of prototypes throughout
inception.

I worked in the Quincy campus Central Receiving area which served as the
hub for all equipment and supply deliveries. I acted as a liaison between
outside service personnel, internal end users and delivery teams. I was
responsible for the service, upkeep and retention of all hoisting and load
bearing equipment.
Another part of the position was working with Procurement/ Strategic
Sourcing and Accounts payable to document incoming equipment and manage
invoices to facilitate payment for goods and services rendered. All actions
were overseen within the Smartstream system which tied the departments and
databases together. E-mail, phone and face to face communications were also
a daily occurrence.
After 9/11 our department policy changed to include inspection and threat
detection of all equipment and supplies entering the building. We were
trained and certified in the use of an "airport style" x-ray machine and an
ion tracker that detects explosives on the molecular level.
