Douglas W. Spector
For the past twelve years I was employed by the nation's largest
independently owned armored car company, Dunbar Armored, Incorporated,
leaving the company as the Vice President of Protective Services. Reporting
to the Chief Security Officer I was responsible for all corporate security
and operational risk prevention audits, creating and enforcing company
security and operational policies, creating new security awareness training
programs and conducting and participating in loss investigations involving
employee misconduct and theft. I had management responsibility for the
company's corporate safety programs and expertise in delivering security
services including access control, CCTV as well as guard force management.
I had management oversight for two subsidiary companies; Dunbar Security
Systems (electronic security) and Dunbar Guard Services (physical security)
which included budget and contract management, sales and profit/loss
oversight. I also have experience working with brokers representing the
Lloyd's of London Market as well as working with third-party investigators.
I have experience developing and making C-Level presentations and traveled
extensively for the company, both domestically and internationally.
Prior to my employment with Dunbar Armored I was the Assistant
Security Coordinator for the Rite Aid Corporation in Los Angeles. I
assisted in developing Rite Aid's uniformed guard program and comprehensive
training programs for all uniformed officers. I conducted compliance
audits, inspections and various loss prevention efforts at company
locations. I also have experience working within the Security function for
the Hyatt Corporation.
As you will see by my resume, my security, compliance, managerial and
leadership experience is extensive including several years as a military
law enforcement supervisor and criminal investigator. My educational
background consists of a Bachelor of Arts degree in Justice Administration
and several executive level management courses and I am presently working
towards obtaining an ASIS CPP designation. I can start immediately, travel
and relocate at my own expense if needed.
I would welcome the opportunity to meet with you to discuss my
experience and to talk about your future Security needs and how I might
contribute to the organization's continued success. Thank you for your
consideration and I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Doug Spector
