requirements

. Conduct gate reviews with suppliers and identify potential concerns

. Review supplier PPAPs and make recommendations for improvements prior

to approval

. Track engineering design changes through to completion

. Communicate open issues with teams and create action plans to bring

issues to close

. Audit supplier processes/quality systems for risk assessment

. Test manufacturing quality checks for robustness

. Oversee Run@Rate and compare to program schedules for potential ramp

up issues

. Liaison between purchasing, engineering, manufacturing and suppliers

to resolve supplier quality issues and to provide technical support

. Address supplier concerns/suggestions for product quality improvement

. Analyze FMEA, Control Plans and SPC data for proper documentation and

continuous improvement activities

. Monitor databases and quality metrics tracking PPAP status and update

as necessary

. Report supplier quality information to Engineering/Purchasing during

Tech Reviews

. Provide support to Engineering/Purchasing during Technical Reviews to

understand supplier quotes figures.
