national professional consulting firm. Created standardized proposals,
presentations and statements of qualification pieces, wrote
operational procedures as well as other specific accounting and human
resource material. Performed account sales activities and directed
client presentation efforts with present, past and new clients.

Consultant - National Sales
Provided the initial leadership and guidance to the new sales and
marketing team of this post-bankruptcy national provider of third
party quality assurance consultancy services to the residential
construction industry. Directed the company re-branding efforts, web
site and marketing material development as well as co-created the
sales and marketing business plan. Performed key account management
duties, conducted client presentation programs and authored
standardized proposals and presentations.

Consultant/Vice President, Branch Services -
Provided business development, administrative and operational
consultation services to a San Diego branch center of a regional
professional engineering firm. Revamped the sales and marketing
efforts which doubled the monthly output of proposals, presentations
and client visits. Renewed past client relationships and created new
ones by improving lines of communications, response time for services
and accuracy of billing. Acted as program manager by establishing
project protocols, developing manpower schedules and creating service
timelines. Implemented active cross selling program between different
department service lines that increased client awareness, scope of

Regional Chief Executive -
Promoted to regional leadership position within this international
professional consulting, engineering and scientific service provider.
Responsible for financial performance of five technology centers
offering a wide array of professional engineering related services
comprised with a staff of over two hundred professional, scientific
and support staff members.
Streamlined procedures and policies within the back office to produce
greater efficiencies and cost reductions in the accounting, human
resource and purchasing departments. Reduced accounts receivable
totals substantially, simplified billing system, increased client
satisfaction that doubled level of repeat business from client base.

Executive Vice President and Member of the Board of Directors -
Co-founder and director of $90million professional consulting firm
that grew to over eighteen locations comprised of 500+ technical and
support personnel prior to acquisition by Bureau Veritas. Established
strategically placed engineering technology centers, recruited and
trained personnel and devised successful business plans. Performed due
diligence tasks, pre and post acquisition integration functions for
six companies that were acquired.
Started, grew and managed financial performance of northeast region of
four centers with over two hundred staff members. Created and achieved
annual performance budgets, developed successful short and long term
client retention business plans.
Performed full slate of business development functions, authored
cost effective policies and procedures that kept back office overhead
to minimum, created billing system that resulted in client
satisfaction with low accounts receivable issues.

Directed the business development efforts of an eighteen branch region
for a national professional engineering firm. Created business plan
for each business unit, carried out key client sales efforts, managed
the efforts of local BD representatives. Prepared proposals and
presentations for major projects, organized regional participation at

developed performance indicators to monitor and grade business

Vice President, Eastern Operations
Charged with establishing a new technology center in Atlantic City, NJ
and a satellite facility in Fort Drum, NY. Negotiated leases, bought
equipment, recruited personnel and developed successful business
plans. Within the first year the operation showed a profit, developed
significant presence in the market and was successful in capturing a
major project.
SGS / U.S. Testing Company, Inc., Hoboken, NJ - 1981 to 1990
Assistant Vice President, Northeast Regional Operations
Began career in the marketing department of a national diversified
scientific, engineering and product testing corporation. Conducted
market research, provided direct client sales and business development
endeavors in the power generation industry, was promoted to oversee a
technical operation.
Oversaw the production, sales and service of nondestructive test
equipment. Was responsible for development of new products,
procurement of materials, new vendors and clients. Built business into
the nation's second largest supplier of radioactive isotopes for
industrial x-ray purposes.
Promoted to senior management of New York metro area construction
materials engineering, testing and inspection group. Supervised over
one hundred technical and support staff members. Performed key client
sales functions, developed business plan for staff to carry out,
provided financial management of the group profit and loss as well as
carried out project management duties.
