As a master of turnarounds and performance improvement, I restructured

Selected Accomplishments
DEVELOPED INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM. ENGAGED BY LAKE POINTE TO ASSIST
$250M HEAVY EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURER. CREATED MODELS TO IDENTIFY $6M IN
EXCESS INVENTORY. IMPLEMENTED MIN-MAX ORDERING AND BILL OF MATERIAL
SYSTEMS. CONSOLIDATED VENDORS SAVING $5M ANNUALLY. REDUCED PERMANENT
INVENTORY $11M IN 18 MONTHS.
Created infrastructure. Alaris had minimal internal policies, financial
reporting or staffing model. Implemented policies/procedures for expense
reporting/control, reducing costs $1M in first year. Developed
hiring/performance review process. Increased staff utilization from 60% to
85% in first year. Expanded business from $5M to $20M.
Implemented strategic initiatives. Declining $70M nursery contracted with
Lake Pointe to develop turnaround plan. Created new purchasing methods,
pricing structure and inventory management system. Negotiated long term
vendor contracts saving $500K. Reduced inventory 20% saving $2M. Pricing
model will save $2M EBIT annually.
Resolved performance issues. Bank requested Lake Pointe assistance with
$30M heavy equipment debtor in financial straits. Analyzed business model.
Developed comprehensive fleet and business improvement plans, allowing
company to refinance with new lender, eliminate dormant fleet in 90 days
and save $1.5M.
Turned around underperforming manufacturer. Lake Pointe contracted to
assist steel service client. Assessed issues, built team and facilitated
changes. Reorganized reporting structure. Identified/implemented inventory
reduction and freight savings opportunities. Identified $2.5M in annualized
savings during six month project.

OF IMPROVEMENT. LEAD INTERNAL AND CLIENT TEAMS UP TO 30.
Principal / Finance & Operations Improvement Executive, Forest Lake
Partners, 2004 to 2006. Assumed roles as interim executive for investments
of private equity firm targeting undervalued manufacturing enterprises.
Implemented financial process improvements and solutions. Managed teams to
20 and budgets to $50M.
Sr. VP / Chief Financial Officer, Alaris Consulting, 1999 to 2004.
Directed all finance and operating activities for supply chain consulting
firm. Managed performance driven engagements, professional staffing, and

Additional Information: I enjoy golf, downhill skiing and running, and
serve on the board of a local charity for the hearing and speech impaired
