Designed and Developed an Intranet Web Application using ASP.NET, ADO.NET
under Microsoft Visual Studio .NET framework 2.0. The front end interface
provided an easy access for the administrator to check the students in,
enter the registered courses into the database, calculate the total
expenses, set up a payment plan, check in the payments received,
calculate past dues, fines etc.
Responsibilities:

Academic Projects:
Small Parallel Interpreter for Numerical Analysis with Collaborated Hosts
This Interpreter will calculate the correct output based on different
inputs like variables, constants, matrix and scalar inputs. It will also
support parallel calculation for matrix addition and multiplication using
Threading in C#.
> Led the Swarm computing team.
> Designed the Connection Module to communicate between computers in a LAN
through .NET Sockets.
> Designed the logic to decide the Master and the back-up machine and
transfer of service when a computer gets disconnected. Also implemented
the heartbeat system to keep a track of connected peers.
> Built a chat based system for peers to broadcast chat messages.
Small Business Information Management System
Assuming to be the lead Engineer of a Software Consulting firm, I built
an Information Management System for the Company using ASP.NET C# and
ADO.NET.
Responsibilities:
> Advertised Company's Products and Services that included managing in-
house and on-site seminars on Software Technologies, downloading free
whitepapers and sell training manuals.
> Designed public order module for registration and payment process.
> Designed the private portal for the company employees for project and
seminar information.
> Provided the notes facility for each employee to add, edit and view
their personal notes.
> Gave each employee an ability to upload and download multiple software
components on a web server.
> Programmed asp.net public and private calendar to display seminar and
project schedules.

MS Silverlight, ADO.NET, JavaScript, HTML,CSS, MS Visio, MS Visual
Studio 2008.
Remote Test Harness with Charting
Built a communication system in C++, based on Windows sockets, to support
remote testing with Test harness that loads executable specifications,
e.g. DLLs. The Test Harness loads all DLLs in some directory, one-by-one,
logs their test description, procedure, and results of the test run, and
sends, via a message to its client, the results of the test.
> Used a socket-based Communicator to support sending Executable Test
libraries to a remote Test harness, register for notification of results,
and receive notifications.
> Designed test logger to handle premature terminations of a test.
> Supplied a Windows Forms Bar charting facility that displayed
graphical results of the testing process. Used color schemes to
differentiate passed and failed tests and displayed the test count.
Remote UML Diagrammer (Software Modeling and Analysis-Fall 2007)
Successfully designed and developed a Graphics Engine for UML Diagrams
based on the knowledge of C# .NET, UML and XML. My main goal was to
develop programs for collaborating with remote partners on UML diagrams.
> Developed communication component for transferring UML symbols on
local machine to remote machine.
> Used .NET sockets to establish connections between the Diagrammer
local and remote clients and server. Communications were purely based on
XML message-passing.
Leadership and Extra Curricular:
> Semifinalist in the Inter-collegiate Robotics Competition at the
undergraduate level.
> Won a poker tournament held at Syracuse University EECS Department.
> Runner up team in the final year Bachelor's project competition.
> Captain of the Syracuse Cricket Team.
