Construction Manager

Construction Manager overseeing $150 million in construction projects for the Civil

Engineering Squadron at the US Air Force Academy. Manage SABER, IDIQ, JOC and COE

contracts and 35% 100% design review. Responsible for securing funding, reviewing

contractors scope of work, safety programs, reviewing and approving submittals, approving

change orders, Mods, and RFI’s. Directly oversaw construction to insure quality control.

Project Superintendent

Manor Vail

Self performed all structural and foundation concrete including forming, reinforcement and

placement. Oversaw all weekly safety meetings and subcontractor meetings

$100 million project consisting of 17 high end ($3200/sqft) penthouses condominiums

erected over a 40 year old existing building, a 4 story underground parking structure and 12

new pre cast elevator/ stair cores. Original contract was $85.5 million with over $20 million

in change orders and no time extension.

St. Francis Medical Center

Ground up construction of an $87 million, 430,000sqft hospital. Responsible for all

superintendent duties as well as overseeing all self performed structural concrete including

caissons, structural mats, footings, foundation and retaining walls, slab on grade, the

construction and erection of 7 pre cast elevator cores, erection of all structural steel, self

performed slab on deck, all civil dirt work and all underground utilities.

7/2005 – 3/2006 Yates Construction Dallas, Texas

Arlington Rehab Hospital

Responsible for all Project Superintendent duties including safety programs, managing

subcontractors, developing and maintaining job schedules, Safety, scope sheets, buyout,

contracts, material procurement. Managed owner budget, general conditions, contingencies,

built and maintained owner/ client relationships.

9/2003 – 7/2005 Medco Construction Dallas, Texas

Project Superintendent

Baylor Regional Medical Center Southwest

Interior demo of existing office space to make room for new Endoscopy Lab and 2 Cath

Labs. Work was done during regular hours with no disruption of daily hospital business.

The original six month schedule was completed five weeks early.

Baylor Regional Medical Center at Plano

Superintendent of a $93 million, 340,000sqft state of the art hospital. Project included 12

OR's, 6 Cath Labs, 2 MRI's, large 16 bed Emergency Room, 2 GI Labs, 20 patient ICU/CCU,

100 room bed tower and 6 story parking garage. Responsible for developing and

implementing construction job schedules, assisting in qualifying bids and proposals, created

subcontractor scope sheets for integration into contracts, directly oversaw all trades to

ensure project was built according to plans and specifications, coordinated and oversaw all

job site subcontractor meetings, handled all job set up, material procurement and delivery,

implemented and maintained OSHA safety standards and built and maintained owner/

client relationships. Through dedication to details, and thorough hands on management

this project was finished 60 days ahead of schedule and well below budget.

8/2000 9/2003 Paric Corporation Dallas, Texas

Commercial Ground Up/ Interior Superintendent

Plano Independent School District

Responsible for the additions and renovations of 12 Elementary Schools totaling $22

million, as well as a $15 million High school. All school projects were fast track and all

finished ahead of schedule. Oversaw several tilt wall office buildings, high end finish outs

and a two story 80,000sqft retail shopping center.

Construction of $400 million Chemical Weapons Site Managed 35 Structural Ironworkers

and 20 Structural Welders. Responsible for working closely with Corps of Engineers on

resolving all design changes and modifications as well as quality control and assurance.

Developed plans for all critical lifts. Worked closely with Procurement Department on

delivery of material
