work and documenting the work in place to provide a consistent quality

product.

Managed a building information model (BIM), critical to meet tight schedule

including authoring a detailed virtual mockup of the exterior skin to

improve design on a tight budget.

The Streets at SouthGlenn (2008 - 2009)

$300 million, 23 building, multi-use town center. The Weitz portion

included 431,000 square feet worth $38 million, office, retail and

library.

Worked as part of a large team, responsible for: all project documentation,

shop drawings and safety planning for block 1 & 4A. Specifically

responsible for: buyout, contracts, scheduling, installation and quality

control of several subs.

Provided time sensitive value analysis to meet the owner's budget while

maintaining lease contracts.

Worked with structural engineer to redesign a clearstory tower to meet

owners revised lease requirements on a tight timeline.

TIAA-CREF Data Center and Office Building

95,000 square feet, $10 million, requiring 6.6 million watts of power.

Coordinated Certificate of Occupancy requirements for on-time building

completion.

Tracked the finishing of hundreds of firewall penetrations to control risk

and cost.

Worked closely with project superintendent to direct work on site.

Building Information Modeling (BIM) Experience:

CHERRY CREEK CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS (2010)

16 block, $10 million streetscape improvement.

Created moving 3D renderings of future construction cited as key to winning

project.

Modeled schedule linked pedestrian and traffic control for public

relations.

Central Park Tower (2009 - Present)

305,000 square feet, $40 million, 11 story, Class A office space, LEED

Gold.

Modeled high end finishes in bathrooms and lobbies. Created field drawings

to direct interior rough-in for future finishes with little allowable

tolerance.

Working as part of the project team Weitz estimated that virtual design and

construction (VDC) efforts avoided $450,000 in potential costs with an

investment of $8,200.

Authored Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) models addressing problems

before installation.

Created an interactive model linking operation and maintenance data to a

simple navigable 3D space for the buildings facilities management.

Solaris Residences (2008 - Present)

580,000 square feet, $350 million, 11 story high end condominiums including

retail, theater, fitness center, bowling alley and ice rink.

Worked full-time coordinating building information models (BIM) to enable

mechanical, electrical and plumbing prefabrication and fast installation.

Authored exterior skin models to resolve constructability issues before

field installation and issued field drawings to direct work at difficult

areas. Weitz estimated that the team avoided $135,000 in change orders

from my work in creating these exterior models.

Modeled miscellaneous steel and directed fabrication, saving several weeks

of schedule.

Sales & Estimating Experience:

CONOCO PHILLIPS RESEARCH CAMPUS (2011 START)

2.5 million square feet, $400 million, regional headquarters including

office, parking, hotel, recreation center, and laboratory.

Part of targeted sales team working for 6 weeks to win a large project.

Created a schedule linked model and rendered 3D views of civil and building

logistics plans for project proposal.

Denver East Side Human Services (2010 Start)
