Professional Work Experience
GeoLab - Denver, Colorado
2008 - Present
SENIOR PROGRAMMER / CONSULTANT
. Tested SpatialCloud's NAIP Cloud Computing services, and integrated
them into the Wind Buddha Silverlight test environment.
. Deployed ArcGIS Silverlight and Bing Maps Silverlight applications,
Wind Buddha, that utilize: C# ASP.NET, WCF REST services, GeoServer,
GeoWebCache, external WMS layers, Postgresql/PostGIS databases, and
OpenStreetMap.
. Created an ArcMap ArcObjects client/webservices application for five
hundred international ArcMap petroleum client seats. The application
was tailored to have centralized management of GIS nodes across the
companies' international offices. It primarily serves to add multiple
CAD layers to ArcMap with minimal clicks, providing metadata on each
node.
. Created free C# ArcGIS plug-in, Recursor, for loading data into ArcMap
in a rapid fashion. Distributed on ESRI's ArcScripts.
. Created free Colorado 50 meter Wind Atlas GeoPDF for macro scale wind
turbine location analysis. Distributed by GeoLab.

display Leaddog Inc's Mexican dataset. Attributes and geometries are
stored in the object/relational database PostgreSQL as OGC simple
features, and accessed using the PostGIS simple features connector for
display/query in Mapserver. The prototype can handle hundreds of
thousands of requests per day, is competitive with top internet map
servers, and zero is spent on software. In addition, wrote ArcObjects and
Avenue scripts to support Leaddog Inc's data creation efforts.
