SUMMARY
Twenty-five years of management experience in Quality Control, Design,
Engineering, and Supervision with expertise in fabrication, manufacturing,
industrial, and heavy construction industries. Taking great pride in
positive accomplishments of developing departmental operation, including
Tooling, Maintenance, Fabrication, Safety, Technical support, Overseeing
out side contractors, and Physical plant.
SELECTED ACHIEVEMENTS
Developed the fabrication department layout because of this new layout
products went from 1000 parts per shift to over 1800 parts per shift.
Systemized the work that went through the saws saving some 5000 square feet
of warehouse space, this space was used for production.
Analyzed the production air problem, installed a new 60 horsepower air
compressor, with dryer and piping, reducing down time by 95%.
Managed a two year project, that when I took it over had used 50% of the
estimated man hours and was only 10% completed. At the completion of the
project 140% of the estimated man hours were used.
Created a system for tracking man hours used on different projects all that
were being worked on at the same time. This enabled us to keep man hours in
line with the project schedules.
Researched what was needed to increase lighting in 220,000 square foot
plant. By doing this lighting was increased by 50% and the cost / electric
usage were reduced by 10%.
