Responsible for the maintenance of park facilities which consists of 60
acres containing four baseball diamonds, soccer fields, children's play
areas and picnic areas. I manage four full time and 6 part time staff
members. We cater to about 170 baseball games monthly and I am responsible
to ensure all facilities are ready for residents and visitors at all times.
The facility is kept clean by community service workers assigned by the
court system. I am responsible for signing them in, tracking their hours
and assigning them to one of my staff members who will use them to help
complete our daily tasks. In the course of my duties, I use tractors,
large industrial mowers, back hoe and equipment trailers.
