. Responsible for (1) expediting, (2) LL violations removal,
(3) building codes research and compliance as per NYC / NYS

construction, elevator & boiler violations (5)heavy interface
with regulatory agencies DOB (Dept. of Buildings) and ECB
(Environmental Control Board). Plan and design interior
building alterations for the hospital facility and prepare
architectural, electrical and mechanical construction
documents to execute the scope of the alteration. Reviewed

. Collaborated on reviewing the DD set and producing CDs for
this 150M, luxury residential building that is a 160.000 SF,
13-story structure with a curbed glass fa ade,100-units condo,
a 2-Fl underground garage, 9'-4" windows, a ground level gym,
open courtyard with pool & a rooftop park like area. Worked
reviewing & detailing some of the two elevations elements ie.:
storefronts, balconies, terraces, parapets, windows, railings,
ornamental columns, panelized facades and the underground
parking. Coordinated the CDs with all disciplines & trades
during the design, bidding, pre / construction phases. In
charge the CA phase and producing the Offering Plans, DOB set,
egress plans and all documents to secure parking permit & COO.
- 77 Hudson, Jersey City, NJ
. Contributed to the DD & CD phases of this 451M, 1.3M SF mixed
use complex that is 2-faceted 48- story rental & condo towers
with 901units, sit atop an 11-story commercial parking & a
35.000SF rooftop park. Responsible for the design & details of
the vertical transportation ie: garage / towers core / egress
stairs, elevators, connecting ramps, corridors & egress paths.
Detailed the railing systems for the garage ramps & parking
perimeter. And collaborated in the development of the
exterior garage facade & parking design
- 303 3rd St.,Cambridge, MA
. Worked in producing CDs for a 253M, 841.000sf co-op project
that is dual 8-story residential towers with 531-units, a
200,000SF underground parking, a one-acre open garden
courtyard & a complex eight-finish material facade. Designed /
detailed the entire roof system, stair / mechanical bulkheads
and coordinated with all engineering disciplines. Plus, I
developed & detailed the storefront system for the ground
floor retail space and the railing systems for all balconies,
terraces, building setbacks & all interior duplex units
- 63 Barbizon, NYC
. Assisted on the DD phase of a 150M conversion luxury condo
project of this 210,000 SF, 1927 structure that is a 23-story
neo-gothic tower with 66 units. Its scope included relocation
of building core, double height penthouses, terraces, 7'-0"
French casement & some 14'-0" rosette windows added to the
historic facade. Worked on the interior layout development &
detailing of the reflected ceiling / flooring systems.
Proposed solutions to address the sensible issue of replacing
all windows to a well known NYC landmark.
May. 2003- ( TPG ARCHITECTURE, New York, NY

- Robeco, NYC
. In charge of producing and reviewing the CDs set for a 4
floor, 2M-office renovation project for Robeco. Duties
included site surveying, on-going work inspection, addressing
CO/RFI and contract administration.
- The Grumman Headquarters, NY
. Assisted on the CD phase of a 15M, 2-floor renovation project
for the largest U.S. defense contractor, Grumman. It's scope
included design & detailing of an interior elevator, 2 lobbies
& one new egress exit.
- H & M International, NYC
. Collaborated on the DD & CD phases of the first H&M store in
the U.S at 5th Ave. Developed and detailed the store vertical
transportation system including escalators, elevators &
stairs for this 3 story, atrium like, 35,000 SF retail space.
Contributed to the design of the exterior / interior store
facade & store sections.
. In addition, I worked on the SD phase of a 2M-apartment
renovation in the famous Chrysler building. The scheme
included combining 4 dwelling units on the 59th Fl. & (1) on
the 60th Fl. into a single duplex unit.
Mar. 2002- ( WASA & ASSOCIATES, New York, NY

. Responsible for editing and detailing the CD set for this
NYDDC, 4M renovation project that is a 4 story cultural
center with music, educational and art display spaces. In
charge of handling the filing process of projects for DOB's
approval. The scope included: preliminary zoning analysis,
site surveying, as-built & fire protection drawings
production, architectural design updates, DOB's review & code
compliance.
. Additionally, I worked in the conceptual & schematic design
phases of David Z, a 6,000SF high-end shoe store. Also,
detailed all costume millwork for The Norfolk Medical Center
in the Bronx.
. Acted as an Owner, Architect, Interior Designer, Project &
Construction Manager by designing & detailing all
architectural & engineering documents to construct two
private residences of my own, in S.A. Ecuador
Nov. 1999- ( STV GROUP, SILVER & ZISKIND, New York, NY

. Assisted in designing, specifying, and detailing the 800-
drawings CD set needed to preserve and restore the elaborate
gothic architecture of this 100 years old, 6-building complex
landmark. The scope of this 26.5M, NYSCA conservation & re-
habilitation project included material & construction methods
research.
-In-Tech Academy, MS /HS 368, Bronx, NY
. Teamed up to create an entire design scheme and to produce
the 300-drawings CD set for a new 72M, pilot Middle / High
School facility that is a 168,000 SF, 3 story state of the
art school on a fast track, 5.5-month schedule. Responsible
for assisting in all the phases from conceptual design to the
actual bid set.
. Also, produced full architectural CD bid sets for a citywide
NYC Boiler Replacement Project. The scope called for
architectural & structural works to accommodate a new heating
system for 20 school buildings.
. And as PA, I managed the renovation of four NYC homeless
center projects. The scope extended from drafting reports &
budgets, producing CD sets, and coordinating their
construction until their final sign-off.
Nov. 1998- ( ROCKWELL ARCHITECTURE, New York, NY

. Collaborated on the DD and CD phase of this 94M venue, home
of the "Academy Awards", ceremony, The Oscars. The design is
part of the new Trizechan Centers and consists of the
forecourt, the orchid walk, the Grand Rotunda & a 60,000SF
auditorium. Responsible for developing: the theater access
ramps & corridors sections, circulation & egress
interior/exterior/stage stairs and stage house cross
sections. Assisted in creating and further exploring theater
transversal / longitudinal sections, and interior elevations,
Contributed to elaborating lobby/grand stair elevations,
sections and conceptual details. - Also worked on (2) theme
restaurant projects for the Playdium Co. at Canada.

. Collaborated on the construction documents phase of this 100M
that is 350,000 SF, 10-floor renovation of office space to
suit the merge and house the headquarters in NYC. Responsible
for the production and elaboration of the entire pricing,
bidding, and CD sets for two floors (2nd & 7th floors) as
well as the CA phase. Also, assisted in the DD phase of
other two floors (33rd & 35th). Coordinated with ING-BARING's
brokers, and partners, building management, mechanical,
electrical, structural, building code, security, audio /
video, and architectural millwork consultants. Also,
coordinated with Mancini's interior design staff in order to
produce design alternatives and new schemes at owner's
representative request.

. Collaborated on the DD phase of this 20.000 SF renovation
project for a 15M Virtual Showroom designed to display and
educate about XEROX products. Prepared layout alternatives in
2D and 3D formats. Also, worked on the 75M NYC Xerox
headquarters that is 100,000 SF, 3-floors of office space.
Responsible for surveying all floors, assisting in the
conceptual design of a 3 floor circular atrium (prepared a 3D
model, a rendering, and a walk thru); drafting & editing
design alternatives for bid & construction documents.
- ChemNetwork, Data Center, NJ
. Assisted on the DD & CD phase of this 55.000 SF space
conversion into a 25M high-tech Data Center for the Chase
Manhattan Bank, The high security design included a 15,000sf
command center, a 2,500sf cafeteria & bullet resistant glass
/ walls. Responsible for editing, drafting, & detailing
designs alternatives.
