leader with good client skills, excellent writing ability, exceptional
knowledge of building systems and how they interact.
Business Experience includes P/L Responsibility, Supervision of
Employees, Client Contacts, Marketing, Design and Construction Budget
Control, and Strategic Planning.
Business and Project Management:
Project Management experience includes managing engineering firms, and
functioning as the manager of projects for commercial, industrial, and

civil, structural, mechanical and electrical disciplines. The
mechanical engineering components integrated HVAC, piping, plumbing,
and fire protection.
Experience in Facilities Engineering ranges from in plant facilities
work to corporate level facilities engineering. These projects range
from simple installations and renovation to major renovations and new
construction worth over $100 million. Projects were taken from the
user's request, through the approval process and justification. Cost
estimating and ROI validation were performed. Scheduling around
production limitations, equipment availablitiy, and other obstacles
were routine. Space utilization studies were required at times to
maximize the use of assets. At Litton the Engineering Manager
supervised 11 architects to control energy efficiency standards and
coordinate industrial processes.
Project Management includes an in-house design team and retained
consulting teams as required. Each type of design requires QA and QC
measures adjusted to the size and complexity of the endeavor.
Provisions for interdisciplinary coordination is important to minimize
the potential for rework. The best procedures involve establishing
