2009 July- Present : Leads for Channel&Territory Management Group

(leads for Partner Territory Managers group and Inside Tel sales

group), SMS&P MSKK, Japan

I have assigned to manage two groups which are partner

territory managers and inside tel-sales groups. Territory group

is to assign 5 Partner Account manager to 5 area in Japan and

manage the local event and responsible for revenue goal.

Especially, our team is focused on the SMB segment in Japan.

Inside tel sales group manage 1,400 partners' business through

18 tele-vendors and manage the partner satisfaction score card.

As of the end of June, my budget is $459M and achieved $513M.

wide.

2007 - 2009 : Business Planning Manager, Japan Office, SMS&P HQ

I was assigned the Japan Office in Executive Exchange program in

Small&Mid Sales&Partner group (SMB) and have started the

business manager role to support the Executives both US and

Japan. From Feb 2009, I consulted the internal re-model

business. This consultation result was evaluated and got the

award from Microsoft President award as Circle of Excellence

Gold.

2000-2007 : Position: Group Senior Manager in Office

Application (PIPC)

I managed Office Managed Partner Pre-install Application Sales

and Marketing Department . This group licensed the Office

Application to all Japanese PC manufactures. My responsibility

was to handle $687 M business with Japanese 12 PC manufactures

in 2000. Main business segment is the consumer PC and Office

Apps preinstall ratio was over 90% in the consumer PC.

Therefore, I have grew this business to $850M in 2007. From

this result, I got the several awards.

1992- 2000 Position : Group Manager, OEM sales, MSKK

Since joining OEM sales department in Microsoft Japan in 1992,

my responsibility is to license the Software (OS) to Japanese PC

manufacturers and report Japanese Market movement to HQ.

Therefore, I handle the product meeting with customer and an

executive meeting. In 1999, I got the Most Valuable Player Award

in World Wide. Also I supported to "Win CE product" as a product

manager. I have handled 5 Japanese OEMs (Casio, Hitachi,

Panasonic, SONY and Sharp) for this product. With Sony,

Panasonic, Sharp, I set up the executive meeting between Bill

Gates and their presidents. Therefore, I was heavily involved

Web TV project and set up a meeting with SONY, SHARP several

times. I got the several awards from Microsoft HQ.

1988- 1992 : Digital Equipment Co. Japan / U.K.

Position : Account manager in Financial industry.

I was the project development co-ordination of a team of two sales

representatives and fifty system engineers with twenty system

engineers in software companies (third vendors). We developed

software and sold it to regional banks. (Bond dealing systems)

Reported to the sales unit manager on the financial industry. My

sales budget was $5M but I achieved $7M.

1986- 1988 : UNISYS Japan Position : Sales Representative

I joined UNISYS in April/1986. My first six months were spent in

intense training (C language) and developing of an understanding

of the UNISYS business approach to the financial computer

industry. My sales budget was $2M but I achieved $2.03M (103%

achieved).

Next year, I was given full accountability for the Tokyo Stock

Exchange, base account, I worked as the support executive with

two accounts and selling mainframe systems. My budget was $7.5M

but I achieved $8M.
