* Programmer Analyst (2000 - 2009):
Project management for 30 web projects. Ensured that creation of web
sites is according to specifications and updated in a timely manner.
Tested and trained non-technical web customers on a new online web
template and tool so they can update their own sites. Received
several employee appreciation rewards from internal web customers for
exceptional service.
* Department Associate (1998 - 2000):
Supported the Operations Director in the following duties: Take
meeting minutes, update weekly status reports and monthly updates of
the Vision Support Plan (VSP; relates to department goals and
objectives). Participated on the VSP Development and Implementation
team by testing and training management team members and their
delegates on the online VSP tool. The VSP team was later awarded for
successful implementation of the system.
* Administrative Assistant (1996 - 1998):
Provided administrative support to the Director of Special Missions,
direct reports, and staff members. Tasks consisted of answering
phones, maintaining director's calendar, making travel arrangements
and processing expense reports; preparing presentation materials,
scheduling of conference rooms, ordering office supplies and
coordinate office events as necessary.
* Department Secretary (1981 - 1996):
Provided administrative support to Material Services Manager, direct
reports, and staff members. Tasks consisted of answering phones,
maintaining manager's calendar, preparing memos, emails, presentation
material, scheduling of conference rooms, ordering office supplies
and coordinate office events as necessary; maintained up to 150
personnel folders. Also supported budget planning for another
internal organization.
After 27 years of dedicated service, I was laid off on 4-02-2009, along
with thousands of others, due to mandatory reduction in force.
