Project Superintendent - Worked on a new temple project for the Sikhs in
Fresno. Project developed financial problems and my position was
eliminated.
PACIFIC WEST BUILDERS Redwood City, CA 2008-10/2008
Project Superintendent - Completed Phase I of a 48 unit apartment complex
complete with solar panels for low income families located in Farmersville,
CA. A retail strip mall shopping center and 16 more apartments were planned
for Phase II but funding was lost.
M.S. WALKER, INC Bakersfield, CA (2007-2008)
Project Superintendent- Supervised construction of a 4 story wood
framed SpringHill Suites hotel by Marriott in Fresno.
TARGET CONSTRUCTORS INC Madera, CA (2005 to 2007)
Project Superintendent - Completed retail projects and apartments /
condominiums in Fresno.
ADVENT CONSTRUCTION Mission Viejo, CA (2003 to 2005)
Project Superintendent - Completed 2 affordable living apartment
complexes located in Selma and McFarland, CA
CLARK CONSTRUCTION CO. Fresno, CA (2001 to 2003)
Assistant Superintendent- Save Mart Center 476,000 SF, $86 million
arena style events center for Fresno State University. Includes seating for
16,000 on two levels with 32 private luxury suites and full build out for
sports, concessions, and media.
DAVID A. BUSH CONSTRUCTION Hanford, CA (2000 to 2001)
Superintendent- Served as the Construction Manager/Project
Superintendent at the Lemoore High School $8 million Event Center. Also
completed a project for the Hanford Community Medical Center which was a
new Physical Therapy Center.
CENTEX ROONEY CONSTRUCTION CO. Fort Lauderdale, FL (1998 to 2000)
Area Superintendent- Coordination and supervision of subcontractors at the
Federal Prison site in California City, California. Also began work at a
private prison that was to be constructed in Mendota, CA, but all work was
suspended by the Owner due to political reasons. Worked in Los Angeles
assisting with the design phase for the demolition and replacement of the
UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center. Returned to California City to add a
12,000 S.F. Court House and Administrative office areas, which was
completed in less than 3 months.
RAY WILSON COMPANY Pasadena, CA (1996 to 1998)
Superintendent- Assisted lead Superintendent in the construction of 25
buildings ($90 million BP-2, 4, & 6 - ) at the California State
Correctional Facility in Corcoran, CA. Responsible for overseeing carpenter
and laborer crews as well as subcontractors.
SHIMIZU AMERICA CORP. Los Angeles, CA (1991 to 1996)
Superintendent- Completed five projects as Construction Managers,
including design concept, budget estimating, formation of bid packages,
permitting, and daily on site supervision of all subcontractors. Projects
included a R&D facility with a clean room in San Jose for Fujitsu, an
office and manufacturing facility for Menicon in Clovis, an addition for
Nisshinbo's textile plant in Fresno, remodeling of tenant improvement space
for two high rise office buildings in Los Angeles, nuclear medicine
facility for the Oregon Health Science University in Portland, OR and an
addition to a wafer crucible manufacturing facility for Toshiba in
Hillsboro, OR.
MARRIOTT CORPORATION Washington, D.C. (1985 to 1991)
Owner's Representative- served as on site owner's representative for new
hotel construction in California, Connecticut, Florida, North Carolina,
South Carolina, Texas, and Virginia. Building construction involved wood
frame, block and precast plank, or C.I.P. concrete with post tensioned
slabs.
RICH DIODATI GENERAL CONTRACTOR South San Francisco, CA (1982 to 1985)
Asst. Project Manager- On site assistant project manager for a sixty
acre business park consisting of six concrete tilt-up buildings, two five
story office towers supported by concrete piles, and a sixty slip marina.
J.C.PENNEY COMPANY INC. N.Y.C., NY (Currently located in Plano, TX) (1974
to 1982)
Construction Manager- Coordinated and supervised all phases of
construction from pre-job planning to project opening. J.C.Penney was the
Construction Manager and Owner/Builder. Projects included four retail
stores and two office/ warehouse facilities consisting of over two million
square feet each.
