Reported to the Vice President of Mission Assurance and chartered to drive process improvement culture. Started up a

Lean Six Sigma program that required developing training material, identify key projects, teaching and mentoring Green

Belt teams, and developing the program’s supporting infrastructure. Led an eight-person team to drive to CMMI Level 3.

• For two products, redesigned the production flow and improved the robustness of the design reduced production

and testing labor, warranty and material cost and was on track to save over $1 million for 2010.

Rockwell Automation 2007 - 2009

Lean Six Sigma Champion – Milwaukee, WI

Director level position that reported to the Vice President/General Manager of a $300M+ business. Responsible for

managing 6 Black Belts in three locations and coordinating the process improvement activities and efforts of the Black

Belts, Strategic Sourcing, Engineering, Manufacturing, Marketing, Finance, Project Management, and Quality functions.

Engineering Test Manager – Clearwater, FL [2001 – 2003]

Responsibilities included providing quotes; managing and scheduling resources in 3 buildings; coordinating three shifts

of testing; maintaining certification of all Miniature Inertial Measurement Unit (MIMU) test equipment; writing, editing and

reviewing test plans, procedures, Engineering Change Orders, software and customer documents; managing costs; and

interfacing with the different functional groups.

• Managed the development and execution of the MIMU integration and acceptance testing as part of product

development to meet customer requirements.

• Supported 10 different variations of MIMU for foreign and domestic customers. Each variation had a different test

plan, required unit software, associated documentation, schedule and budget.
