Director of Financial Planning and Analysis
Reported directly to the Vice President of Finance. Responsible for
directing the work activities of 2 managers and 8 employees in the
Financial Decision Support and Budget Departments. Financial Decision
Support includes cost accounting, payer contract modeling, standard and ad-
hoc financial reporting and analyses, and database administration. Budget
Department responsibilities include the facilitation of the annual capital
and operational budgeting processes, long term financial planning and
forecasting, preparation and reporting of patient statistics and analytical

managing the areas of Medical Records, Data Processing, Cafeteria
Operations, Plant Operations/Maintenance, and Housekeeping.
. As CFO, worked closely with the CEO to establish Fresno's first
combined Outpatient Rehab/Fitness facility (Lifetime Fitness and
Rehabilitation Center). Reviewed and approved all balance sheet
account analyses, journal entries, contractual adjustments, and bad-
debt write offs. Acted as team lead during Joint Commission of
Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) surveys for
Finance, Plant/Housekeeping, Medical Records, Data Processing and
Cafeteria Operations.

consolidating entries. Prepared and presented all balance sheet
