. SERVED TO NEGOTIATE MUTUALLY AGREEABLE SOLUTIONS TO LABOR DISPUTES
ARISING FROM DISAGREEMENTS BETWEEN NON-UNION SPECIALTY CONTRACTORS AND
LOCAL UNION FACILITY LABOR. ENSURED ALL PROJECTS WERE COMPLETED ON-
TIME AND WITHIN BUDGET.

. Took on a veneer dryer replacement project under a strict 40-day time
limit. Developed a project schedule that encompassed two 10-hour work
shifts for the entire 40-day period. Successfully removed the old and
installed and commissioned all new equipment within the period.
. Researched best practices and equipment vendors to identify
engineering document production machinery for the company. Utilizing
available funding created a plan that used a mix of both procurement
and leasing to acquire the resources needed to run the department.
. Reestablished an important business relationship with a client who had
suffered a catastrophic structural failure of a rock storage silo.
Went to the location and set out a complete set of detailed designs
for the replacement structure and steel floor plates. Provided a
sense of urgency that brought the facility back into production.
