Siemens VDO– Newport News, VA May 2002-

Engineer Technician (ODU Mechanical Engineer Intern)
Siemens is a global competitor in many markets; however, the Newport News, VA facility, was known for
making OEM automotive parts.
Handmade sample fuel pressure regulators for testing prior to implementing a full production scale
run to send to customers (Toyota, Ford, Honda, etc…)
Tested rejected regulators and analyzed data to determine why parts from production were failures.

I am detail oriented; for this reason, I was asked to design and build a custom test fixture to
send to Toyota so that they can simulate the entire testing process in their facility instead of
sending faulty parts back to the US.
