maintenance activities with the production team. Managed

2 Senior Engineer August 2006 to April 2007

Designed automated manufacturing and industrial equipment.

Specified all aspects of the electrical build including parts,

design and layout. Handled most of the PLC programming needs of

the company.

3 Shift Superintendent/Controls Engineer March 2005 to August 2006

Oversaw all plant operations on third shift. Automated and

improved control processes throughout the plant to improve

quality and decrease cycle time. Developed new automated

equipment and systems. Managed various improvement projects.

Brought automated vertical insulated glass production line to

Managed a 12 person engineering group. Developed automated test

systems with Allen Bradley PLCs using RSLogix/RSView, NI

LabWindows/CVI Test Executive and Visual Basic 6 software.

in Visual Basic. Developed MS Access database front end

applications in Visual Basic. Developed test schematics with

Supervised the pipe mill sensors and controls systems

maintenance team. Maintained pipe mill's Rockwell Reliance PLC

systems, including developing and installing HMI systems and

automating production controls systems. Maintained pipe mill's

electro-mechanical systems. Designed and installed pulpit

operator control panels. Co-authored database software to

collect detailed production information.
