essential in all situations.
Old Pecan Street Enterprises Inc. Austin, TX
(October 2009-Present)
Owner Bob Woody
Responsibilities: Food preparation and customer service
I work parties downtown for the Coppertank event center and for the Old
Pecan Street Café. This job has put me in every situation that the food
service industry can provide. Leadership, teamwork and group effort are
necessary components of successful service. I have a great manager named
Jennifer Steadman. In these parties I’m gaining experience in
supervision and management, serving, bartending, bar backing, cleaning,
cooking, suggestive selling and etiquette.
Clear Channel Communications Lexington, KY
(October 2008-July 2009)
Station Manager Aaron Trimmer
Responsibilities: Maintaining radio station 630 WLAP
In Lexington, KY, I worked as a board operator for news radio. This was
an interesting job, as I was put in charge of mass media for a shift at

following a log, programming advertisements, and also led to my PAYOLA
certification.

University of the Cumberlands Williamsburg, KY
(2004-2007)
Head Librarian Linda McGarvy
Responsibilities: Primarily shelving books and helping people locate
them, security and theft prevention
In my last two years of college in Williamsburg, KY I worked for the
college as an Assistant Librarian. This was a great job because it was
quiet and dull enough to study a lot of the time. However, at the first
and last of the month it was relatively busy and gave me experience in
customer relations and service, plus computer experience in the
“Librarian Wizard” program.
The City of Hazard, KY
(1999-2003)
Pavilion manager Charlotte Sizemore
Responsibilities: Life guarding
This was my first official job in KY throughout high school plus a
summer after graduating, and I did it for 4 years. In four years I saved
16 people and taught dozens of kids how to swim. The job was valuable
experience holding focus, being alert and responsible, and it taught me
to have patience with children.
