. It was a fill in job until I could find a job through my job
search.
. SOP: I was required to take a course on how to handle the Middle
School aged students in case of a controversy between the
students. It showed how to handle different situations that may
arise, and what to say and what not to say that may help or hurt
the cause at hand. I was enforcing the school rules at all times
to students and providing them with help if needed.
. GMP: I made sure that I would always show a positive attitude
and outlook on every situation so the students would feed of the
good habits and not bad ones.
Employment Gap
April 2009-August2009
I was actively looking for a job because the one I was suppose to
start after Gerhart Financial Services was not the job that was offered
to me from the interviews.
Professional Experience May of 2008-
April 2009
Gerhart Financial Services, Inc., Lebanon, Pa
. Assisting in Creating Financial Plans for Clients who have
Portfolios involving Investments, Insurance, and Retirement
accounts
. Was fully responsible for helping clients find the right Health
Insurance and Medicare Insurance for their protection against
Medical costs in their future
. Sold numerous Health Insurance Policies and Medicare Policies
from 3 different companies where all of their plans were
different
. Managed a large client base and kept all of them happy and
satisfied with their decision to stay with our company and not
leave to go elsewhere
. Adapted to different Health and Medicare Insurance plans and was
able to determine which plans were best for different
individuals
. SOP: I was required to Study and Pass an Accident, Life & Health
Insurance exam given by the state in order to speak, sell, or
present any type of insurance policies to any given client or
customer. In the study, I was able to learn how to comply with
many Governmental SEC rules and confidentiality rules. I
attended a few Seminars with our CFP to keep up to date with all
the rule and information changes in the Medicare and health
insurance field. I was required to take weekly seminars for each
individual Health Insurance company that we used because of the
different benefits and plans that were offered.
. GMP: If a client had no business being in their current Medicare
or Health Insurance plans I was able and trained to find out
their needs and find out their estimated cost they were looking
to spend, to put them in the best possible Insurance policy
incase an event would happen, they would have no worries as to
what would be covered.

SHERWIN-WILLIAMS DISTRIBUTION CENTER, Fredericksburg, PA
. Picked orders for the companies customers
. Restocked inventory when needed for the distribution center
. Boxed and packaged merchandise to send away on trucks for the
companies customers
. SOP: I was required to take train for a week by watching safety
videos, driving a pallet jack, and learning how the inventory
system works at Sherwin Williams. I was also required to learn
how to properly wrap a pallet full of merchandise so there would
be no damaged material during transportation and so the client
would be 100% satisfied with their orders. I was also required
to learn how to properly clean up the different types of
chemical spills to prevent any further dangers to other
employees as well as the warehouse product itself. Before being
able to drive the pallet jack and perform the normal duties of a
warehouse worker at Sherwin Williams, I was required to pass
every test given on these subjects in an above satisfactory
manner.
. GMP: If a pallet that I had wrapped would come off as being too
risky to put on a truck for distribution, I would re-stack the
merchandise a different way and re-wrap the pallet to ensure a
safe transportation. Also, if along my travels through the
warehouse I would recognize merchandise that would be in the
incorrect place, I would take the correct action to see that the
product gets to its correct location to prevent any future wrong
orders that would come from this. Throughout this job, safety
and accuracy was the key to the success of a proper order.
Seasonal Help Summer 2007
KARL KEATH ELECTRICAL, HEATING & AIRCONDITIONING, Myerstown, PA
. Installed Heating and Air Conditioning units in residential and
commercial buildings
. Re-wired electrical units on commercial and residential
buildings
. Fixed and repaired plumbing problems in commercial and
residential buildings
. SOP: Even though this was a summer job and only helping out for
a limited 3 months, I was still required to have a mentor teach
me how to properly wire Central Air units and Heating units in
commercial and residential buildings. I also was taught how to
properly secure duct work to maximize air flow and air quality
from the units to the individual's household or workspace. Once
I have completed the tests proficiently, I was able to perform
many tasks on my own without intense supervision because I knew
what I was doing from what was taught to me.
. GMP: It was taught that if you're not 100% sure you covered all
your necessary requirements of installing any type of unit, I
would go back and go over them in order again to ensure 100%
accuracy and proper installations. This goes for sealing off
cracks that may leave out airflow and energy as well because the
consumer is paying for things to be done correctly and you do
not want to give a half of an effort. It's always 100%.
Volunteer Summers 2003-2004
LEBANON SCHOOL DISTRICT, Lebanon, PA
. Mentored middle school aged students in a super summer camp
. Organized co-operative activities for each day of the week
. SOP: I had to learn how to assess situation at the middle school

playground and summer camp setting. I was taught how to provide
safety and security to every student so their days were
enjoyable and purposeful at camp.
. GMP: I would mentor and teach each student throughout the day
life lessons and to have a positive outlook on life. I would
allow them to learn from their good times and their mistakes,
but I would help and mentor them along the way.
COMPUTER EXPERIENCE
Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access
I have used computers for email, internet, spreadsheets, budgets,
inventory control (labeling system using barcodes and item locations),
database management, contact management, product updates, and rules and
regulations.
PALLET JACK EXPERIENCE
I would use a pallet jack as transportation throughout the warehouse
with an empty pallet on the forks. I would stack the merchandise on the
pallet until one order was completed. However full the pallet because I
would still use the pallet jack as a means of transportation until the
order was finished. I then would back the pallet jack up to a wrapper and
drop my pallet on the conveyor belt for wrapping.
PACKAGING EXPERIENCE
I have packaged paint gallons, paint barrels, clothes, quarts,
liters, pints, cartons; everything needed to do a paint job. I have had to
keep my machine clean, make sure it was running properly, make sure it was
capable of lasting me the entire day and not run out of power on me, and
also help to prolong the life of the machine. I have used a Pallet Jack for
packaging for 3 consecutive summers and have had no problems adapting.
