Shadowing –
Laramie Care Center; Laramie, WY
Experienced a typical day for a R.D. in a nursing home setting. Watched her chart patients,
learned various skills such as tube feeding calculations, weight adjustment calculations
and overall patient management.
Dietetic Shadowing at WIC; Laramie, WY
Shadowed the R.D. at WIC (women, infant, and children). Watched the R.D. interact with
patients and discuss various topics about nutrition.
Early Care and Education Center; Laramie, WY
Volunteered at this day care center by providing enthusiastic support in the kitchen. Prepared
lunch and snacks for the children and cleaned dishes.
Research Grant –

Prepared and acted in a section of a video that discussed food allergies. This grant focused
on small rural food processors through Interagency Cooperation.
