Family and Community Coordinator
. Provide leadership and direction in implementing parent support groups
in conjunction with working with the Student Service Center regards to
providing additional support service to parents. Coordinate school
wide parent/students events i.e. College Fair, Back to School Night.
Publicize and promote district programs for families, such as advocacy
workshops and literacy activities.
. Report students' attendance/tardy records to the appropriate agencies,
while also implementing the school's daily release of students and
updated student Restoration status to School District of Philadelphia.
Assist with conducting student/parent orientation sessions,
processing as well as coordinating new student referrals.
. Assist Curriculum Department with Academic Counseling for High School
Students, Personal Student Learning Program forms, and nursing staff
with coordinating health related workshops for students.

while also being actively involved in retrieving information from

hire packet, explaining the company's medical and other benefits the
company provides. Be available to answer and/or research questions
regarding benefits. Set up all new employee files in Kronos, noting
information that is pertinent to the employees' position. Enroll all
employees digitally in Kronos. Submit approved Additional Pay request
for employees such as payment for detention or overtime. Maintain
cordial and professional relationship with the corporate Payroll
Department. Collect all necessary paperwork, signed by the employee
and forward to People Services in a timely manner.
. Attend meetings and work with representatives from outside agencies
that desire to partner with CEP on new initiatives that will help
connect to resources for families, students, staff and surrounding
community members and implementation of joint ventures.
. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
i.e. substitute teaching, student counseling, serves as a member of
the principals' advisory committee.
. Responds to calls from Truancy Support Center and district schools for
student pick-up and transport. Conduct home visits to support truancy
and enrollment initiatives as directed. Use the schools' and community
resources effectively while demonstrating a professional ability to
think creatively in addressing truancy issues and problems.
. Assist in providing leadership in demonstrating the ability to solve
problems while thinking creatively in addressing school issues and
concerns. This will include the appropriate involvement of staff,
