Who I Am and What I do

I am a Creative Graphics Professional. I work in creative graphic-

oriented environments. My career includes working at advertising

agencies, book publishers, printers and design firms. My work experience

includes but is not limited to business-to-business collateral, DVD

special packaging, large in-store displays and book publishing. I have

worked for small but very creative design firms to large multinational

companies with interests in manufacturing, printing and design.

For the last 10 years, I have been managing the creative and print

production process. I have worked under various titles - Project

Manager, Creative Manager, Print Production Manager, Color & Press

Manager - but my strongest asset Is my versatility - I can manage people

and projects, I can manage the technical aspects of the creative studio

and I can be hands-on as needed.

In my various management positions my responsibilities would include

hiring and supervising staff, creating workflows and implementing sound

work procedures. I have been responsible for research, budgets and

acquisition of company software and hardware. I have over 10 years

managing projects that were multi-leveled, detailed and in high-volume

work environments.

I am a dependable and level-headed manager. Because of my varied work

experience, I have been presented with and worked through many different

work situations. I am very adaptable to new situations. I bring many

intangibles to the position: a high level of professionalism, honesty,

unmatched self-motivation, a team player and a very conscientious

worker.

. Proficient with many major graphic programs: QuarkXPress, Adobe CS4 -

Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator.

. Very conversant in web technologies and software: Dreamweaver, CSS,

FTP, HTML.

. Very conversant with general office programs: MS Word, Excel,

AcrobatPro.

. Very experienced with relational database programs and asset management

systems.

. Very experienced with office printers, fax machines, high-end output

devices and scanners.

. Very experienced with technology infrastructure: the Internet,

networks, filesharing, backups systems.

. Very familiar with the 4/c process, color correction and excellent

prepress skills.

Recruiting Assistant, Crew Leader Assistant (temp). U.S. Census,

Georgetown,TX : 2009 - present

Recruiter Assistant: Find locations for testing and test applicants

for office and field positions.

Crew Leader Assistant: Assist Crew Leader in training and

administration of daily enumeration work.

. Develop trust and nurture relationships with various business

leaders and local government officials.

. Meet and greet general public and administer testing in English and

Spanish.

Creative Project Manager (freelance). NTS Creative Group, Los Angeles,

Managed the design team in the development of DVD Keyart, packaging,

sell sheets, ads and other collateral.
